Hardin County Chamber Holds Ribbon Cutting, Announces Another Tomorrow

Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance held a ribbon cutting ceremony at Ohio Insurance and Financial Services on Thursday.

The was a celebration of 50 years of service.

Ohio Insurance and Financial Services is an independent insurance agency founded by Gary Nelson in 1976. 

Originally Nelson Insurance in Kenton, it has now grown to include 13 locations throughout Ohio.

Another ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow at Conkle’s Florist and Greenhouse.

It will take place at 1:00 Saturday afternoon at 805 South Main in Kenton.

Conkle’s is celebrating the Grand Re-Opening of their storeroom.

The event will also feature an open house from 7:00 until 9:00 pm and a special sign lighting ceremony.

The iconic Conkle’s sign was put back in place earlier this week.
