Obituary for Barbara Clark

Funeral services for Barbara Clark will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Abundant Life Church in Kenton, with Pastor James Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow at Otterbein Cemetery. Friends and family may visit two hours prior to the service at the church.

Barbara Tsuyuko (Britton) Aldridge Clark passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the age of 51. She was born in Kenton on July 21, 1975, to Michael (Diana) Britton and June (Tom) Bizjak.

Barbara leaves behind her husband, David Clark; her daughter, Abilene Aldridge; sons, Lydon (Abigail Aaron) Aldridge, Hayden (Cheyenne Newland) Aldridge, her grandchildren, Kimiko Aldridge, Montey and Kaspian Aldridge; her parents; her siblings, Ryan (Young Mi) Britton, Amanda (Cass Diem) Britton, Eric McKinley, Kevin (Vicky) McKinley, and Amy (Doug) Kuhn; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Barbara Britton, and Helene and Harold Teramoto; her stepfather, Larry Wise; her sister-in-law, Beverly McKinley; and her uncle, Niel Teramoto.

Barbara was a 1993 graduate of the Christian Academy in Japan in Higashi-Kurume, Tokyo, where she attended for her junior and senior years of high school. While there, she was involved in volleyball and the international choir. She worked as an STNA for over 20 years, dedicating her life to caring for others. She always ensured everyone felt welcomed and comfortable being themselves, regardless of who they were or where they came from, always seeing the good in people. Many of her children’s friends knew her as “Mom” and knew they were welcome in her home at any time. Her greatest joy came when she became a grandmother. She loved her family deeply, enjoyed music, and loved making people laugh.

Memorial contributions in Barbara’s honor may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
