Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine to Receive Honorary Degree From University of Findlay
Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine will receive an honorary degree from the University of Findlay today in recognition of her work promoting early literacy among Ohio’s children.
Since 2019, the First Lady has worked to spread Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio across all 88 Ohio counties, which currently serves more than 440,000 Ohio children each month.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio mails one free, high-quality, age-appropriate book to children each month until their fifth birthday.
All Ohio children from birth to age five are eligible for the program, and families can sign up at ohioimaginationlibrary.org.
