University of Findlay’s Helping Hands Food Drive Set for November 4

The University of Findlay’s 21st annual Helping Hands Food Drive is bringing the community together to fight food insecurity across Hancock County.

Collection Day will take place on Wednesday, November 4.

The University’s Watterson Center, located at 301 Davis Street in Findlay, will serve as the central collection location, accepting donations from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm.

Volunteers also will be stationed at collection points throughout the city from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, distributing shopping lists and collecting donations from community members.

The participating collection locations in the Findlay include both Kroger and Walmart locations and Brinkman’s.

Community members are encouraged to contribute nonperishable food items or make monetary donations to support the effort.
