Members of the Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities expressed their disappointment over the defeat of levy in Tuesday’s election.
In a released statement, members said their commitment to the people they serve has not changed, and their mission remains of supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in living, working, and thriving in the community.
They added that the defeat of the levy means they will continue to face significant financial challenges, and over the coming months, the board will carefully evaluate how to sustain essential services while operating with limited resources.
As decisions are made, board members vowed to be transparent and keep individuals, families and shareholders informed.
