A graveside service for Charlotte Bowers will take place at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died peacefully on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Kenton Nursing and Rehab. She was born on December 29, 1936 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the late Clayborne Sr. and Armidna (Hearld) White. In 1962 she married Jack Bowers and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son; Carl Bowers Sr., a step-daughter; Connie Bowers-Odell, 2 grandsons; Carl Jr. (Miranda) Bowers, Robert (Lauren) Bowers, and a sister-in-law; Karen White. She also had a host of nieces and nephews and was going to be a proud great-grandmother to Colt Jackson Bowers.

She was preceded in death by a sister; Laura Pauley, and a brother; Claybourme White Jr.

Charlotte retired from Westinghouse AO Smith after 35 years of service. She also continued to work other jobs after retirement which she greatly enjoyed.

She also enjoyed taking trips with The Hardin County Council on Aging. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Charlotte’s honor may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
