Hardin Northern 3rd graders recently concluded their “Too Good For Drugs program”. The program teaches students goal setting, decision making, identifying and managing emotions and effective communication.
It is also an evidence based prevention program designed to enhance protective factors related to alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use and it introduces and develops social and emotional skills for making healthy choices and building positive friendships.
The students participated in the 10 week program, 30 minutes a week. Each student graduated the program with a certificate.
