Prevention Awareness Support Services is accepting applications for the Mental Health Career Pathway Work Based Summer Learning Program.

It is for high school teens in grades 9 – 12, and recent high school grads.

They can earn money while learning about careers in the mental health field.

This is the fifth year that PASS has been able to offer this summer program to area students, who can earn $30 per day to attend the three -week program.

Guest speakers from a variety of social work and mental health agencies give students a glimpse of what it’s like to work in their professions.

Students will also be taken on college tours and explore financial aid options.

This year in our region, the program will be held in Allen, Hardin, Union and Logan counties.
