Christopher Michael Grace age 48 of Upper Sandusky, passed away on Tuesday July 4, 2023 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, OH. He was born August 28, 1974 in Mount Gilead to Melvin and Mary (Ayers) Grace. He married Kelly (Sinden) Grace on Oct. 3, 2015.

Chris is survived by his loving wife Kelly of Upper Sandusky, father Melvin (Barb) Grace of Michigan, mother Mary (Dave) Brush of Mount Gilead, children: Cole Grace, stationed in Vilseck, Germany, Brendan (Claire) Grace of Bucyrus, James Jones of Upper Sandusky, Samantha Jones of Upper Sandusky, Kilei (Butch) Heffelfinger of Upper Sandusky, William Ellcessor of Upper Sandusky, four grandchildren Grey, Kash, Mila, and Judd Heffelfinger all of Upper Sandusky, two brothers Greg (Lisa) Grace, Zac Grace, and sister Brianna (Martin) Grace Burnett as well as nieces and a nephew.

Chris graduated from Mount Gilead High School in 1992. He worked for Whirlpool for 25 years and was proud to receive his journeyman’s card in maintenance. He worked his way up to his current position in the controls department. Chris was a member and officer of the Moose Lodge #1093. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians, and Cleveland Browns fan. One of Chris’s favorite quotes when cheering for the Browns was “There’s always next year”. He enjoyed classic cars and his 1948 Chevy truck. He loved laughing and telling Dad jokes as well as funny t-shirts and socks. Chris was a family man and loved fishing with his grandchildren. He was a compassionate and loving man who put his family’s needs and happiness before his own. Chris had the biggest heart.

A gathering and celebration of his life will be held Tuesday July 11, 2023 from noon-3pm and 5pm-8pm at Bringman Clark Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor’s choice in Chris’s name in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
