Jacquelyn S. “Jackie” Counts age 54 of Upper Sandusky, died at her residence on Oct. 30, 2023. She was born Mar. 13, 1969 in Upper Sandusky to the late Nevin J. Gilliland and Beverly (Hord) Spiegel of Upper Sandusky.
Jackie is survived by her mother Beverly (Dave Clinger) Spiegel, Upper Sandusky. She married Richard P. Counts Feb. 13, 1993, he survives in Upper Sandusky. She is also survived by her children Tyler Counts, Upper Sandusky and Kayla (Jeffrey) Miller, Bucyrus, a grandson Chet Miller, brothers Randall Gilliland, Bucyrus, Allan (Anita) Gilliland, Bellevue, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a brother Gary D. Gilliland.
She attended Bucyrus Church of the Nazarene. Jackie was a homemaker, a STNA and did home health care for Mary Seitz for 25 years. She enjoyed her dogs and chickens, and was an avid OSU Buckeye, Browns and Indians fan. She loved spending time with family, and especially her most recent joy– her grandson, Chet.
Funeral services will be held Fri. Nov. 3, 2023 at 10:00AM in the Bucyrus Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ray LaSalle officiating. Interment will be in Nevada Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thurs. Nov. 2, 2023 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Bringman Clark Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Wyandot County Humane Society or The Autism Society in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
