Sarah Louise Williams, 93 of Bellefontaine and formerly of Kenton passed on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Belle Springs Nursing Home. She was born in Foraker on Mary 25, 1930 to the late Louis John and Lucy Bell (Fahl) Gerlach. Sarah married Clair B. Williams on August 10, 1952 and he preceded her in death on September 18, 1988. Surviving is a son, John (Loretta) Williams of Ridgeway, two grandchildren; Sunni Hubbel of Findlay, Kristine (Leonard) Charrier of Oklahoma, two great-grandchildren; William and Olivia and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her grandson, Jeremy Allen Williams, two brothers; Raymond (Kathleen) Gerlach, Donald (Henreitta) Gerlach and five sisters; Dorothy (Carl) Sprang, Betty (Billy) Roby, Mary Catherine (Robert) Baker, Doris Arlene (Ernest) Kahler and June E. (Dean) Cole. Sarah worked at all three hospitals in Kenton over the years in the OB Department and also for Dr. Jay Pfeiffer. She enjoyed helping the Hardin County Historical Society with the Gene Autry Days. Sarah and her husband had exchange students and foster children with challenges. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. A graveside service will follow on Friday at 12:30 PM at Wolf Creek Cemetery with pastor Gregg King officiating.
