Robert E. “Bob” Dye, age 77, of Ada, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on January 29, 1947, in Staffordsville, Kentucky to the late John and Rusha (Blevins) Dye. On June 1, 1968 Bob married Sheila M. Clemons and she survives in Ada.
Also surviving are his three children: Jeremy Brent Dye of Ada, Joshua Dye of Ada and Cyndee (Terry) Sneary of Bluffton; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a brother Paris (Sue) Dye of Jenera; and a sister: Ann (Steve) Zuercher of Ada.
Bob was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Allison Dye; three brothers: James, Elmer and Virgil Dye; and a sister, Patricia Holbrook.
Bob retired from Ford Motor Company of Lima where he worked as a high low driver. He previously was the Pastor at Ada Full Gospel Pentecostal Church of God and the Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God, Alger. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran.
Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Pastor Don Holbrook officiating.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Tuesday, February 13th at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
