Obituary for Deborah “Debbie” Ann Thacker

Deborah “Debbie” Ann Thacker, 70 of Kenton, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Deb was born on February 1, 1954 to the late Frank Jacobs and Hazel (Nichols) Thomas.

Deb is survived by her daughters, Wendy Harriman, Heather Thacker and Ashley Young; son, Brandon Drummond; seven grandchildren, Caitlyn Nelson, McKenzie (Logen Drumm) Brown, Preston Collins, Zayne Perkins, Kayleigh Young, Dennis Collins and Paxtyn Young and three great-grandchildren, Joycyln Nelson, Kingsley Fletcher and L.J. Drumm. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Brenda Nichols and Sharon Chamberlain.

Deb retired from Kroger’s after working for 22 1/2 years. She enjoyed fishing, bingo and coloring on her tablet. Lilacs were her favorite flower as she liked the color purple. The most important thing to Deb was spending time with her family. 

Her family wishes for Deb to be remembered for her kind heart.  She was also a courageous and strong fighter against her many illnesses. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4-7pm on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home. Online condolences may be shared with the family at stoutcrates.com.
