Kenton Middle School 8th Graders recently visited Washington, DC from April 29th until May 2nd. The students were able to tour The Capitol and visited the Ford Theatre.
KMS students Zane Styer, Emalyn Baucknecht, Kylee Kavanaugh, and Jazlyn Worthington even participated in laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider in Arlington National Cemetery.
Students were also able to visit Mount Vernon and more national treasures throughout their stay. On the last day, students stopped in Shanksville, Pennsylvania to visit the Flight 93 National Memorial.
