Indian Lake State Park’s Natural Resources Officers will again be using their side scans in the temporary no-wake areas to locate any remaining debris as a result of the March 14 tornado.
They are asking for some help over the next few weeks.
If your boat has underwater imaging, side scan, or live scope, they are asking that you consider assisting them in locating and marking any remaining underwater debris in the second zone by Dredge Island.
The timeframe for marking Zone 2 will be May 14 through May 28.
The dredge crew will be removing marked items the following week.
When debris is located, you should mark it with a disposable marker, such as a milk jug tied to a rock.
This process will be repeated over the next several weeks in different zones.
