IRS Announces Tax Relief for Ohio Businesses and Individuals Impacted by Tornadoes

The Internal Revenue Service recently announced tax relief for any businesses or individuals who were impacted by the tornadoes in Ohio beginning on March 14th.

If you reside or have a business in the qualifying counties, you now have until September 3 to file various federal individual and business tax returns and make tax payments.

The filing deadlines have been extended for individual income tax returns and payments normally due on April 15, along with contributions to IRAs and health savings accounts for eligible taxpayers and quarterly estimated income tax payments normally due on April 15 and June 17.
