Hardin Northern Students had a special guest last week. The fourth grade hosted Rob Rodabaugh, from the Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist program. Mr. Rodabaugh taught the students how Ohio’s environment has changed over time.
He also encouraged the students to get outside this summer and check out all of the cool nature preserves and wildlife opportunities right in our area. The students had a fun day learning about the history of Ohio’s environment.
The Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist (OCVN) program is an environmental and natural resources outreach and service program led by OSU Extension in collaboration with county Extension offices, parks, and arboretum.
