The City of Findlay is celebrating 50 years of being named Flag City USA this summer.  Hancock Historical Museum invites the community to join them for a family fun day celebrating this milestone on Sunday, June 9th from 1pm-4pm.

The free, family-friendly event will feature patriotic games and crafts, special exhibits of Flag City USA, and a mobile children’s book illustration exhibit on display that is being presented by the Mazza Museum

There will also be a chance to learn about proper flag etiquette and disposal, along with the ability to surrender old and damaged flags for an official retirement ceremony to be held at a later date.

There will also be free red, white and blue snow cones from Kona Ice Findlay.

Hancock Historical Museum is located at 422 W. Sandusky St in Findlay.
