Indian Lake State Park recently announced that they exercised the lake drains by the spillway. They open and close the gates to ensure proper function as part of regular dam maintenance.

The spillway was replaced in 2017 with a labyrinth design. It has an alert system and a new USGS rain gage and temperature feature where you can see lake levels and temperature that was installed in 2023.

Indian Lake State Park also wants to remind the community that they can view current spillway levels, water temperatures, and rain gage information online.

You can visit the website for the current spillway level and see the water temperature: https://waterdata.usgs.gov/monitoring-location/03260500/…
