Village of Forest Working on Accurate Readings for Meters

The Village of Forest has been working diligently to get accurate readings on all meters.

Village Administrator Jakob Rinehammer said it has taken some time, but they are very close to completion.

Utility bills for many residents have had past utility bills calculated from an estimate, but July’s bills reflect the exact amount that has been used.

Village officials are aware that some residents received credits, while others had some substantial increases in their bills, and they are assuring the community that they are addressing the issue.

Residents who received an increased bill should pay the estimated amount from the June bill.

In August, you will be required to pay the exact amount listed on the utility bill.
