If you need help paying your summer electric bills, the Summer Crisis Program may be able to help.
The program is available now through September 30 to households at or below 175 percent of the federal income guidelines with a household member who is 60 or older or a member with a medical necessary condition.
The household must have had electric service shut off, a disconnection notice or new electric service is being established.
The program is available to electric consumers of investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities and rural electric co-ops.
