The Logan County History Center will welcome back local archaeologist Greg Shipley for an educational program on August 21st.
The program “Investigating Prehistoric Sites in the Upper Mad River Drainage” will start at 6:30pm at the Logan County Transportation Museum.
In 1961, Shipley, at age six, found his first prehistoric arrowhead and that discovery ignited an interest for locating ancient sites and recovering associated relics.
For more than sixty years, he has continued with these activities.
His PowerPoint presentation will discuss the variety of cultural materials that have been found by him and others.
Admission is free.
