Edward James Miller “Ed ” went to be with Our Lord and Savior on July 5th at 1:11 am, at home surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Ed was born on November 18th 1953 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Donald Miller and Mary (Anderson) Miller- Deringer. On July 7th 1990 he married the love of his life, Vickey and they shared just shy of 34 years of showing their children, grandchildren, anyone who was ever close to them, the meaning of true unconditional love, always putting their marriage before anything, then family next. Ed inherited 4 step children when he married Vickey, Lisa LeMaster of Findlay, John (Lori) Beltz of Forest, Lori (David) Bradley of Kenton, and Amy (Sam) Pickett of Forest, he was preceded in death by his son Donnie Miller, sister Pat Thomas, and granddaughter Tori. He leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his nephew Keith (Lindsey) Thomas of Forest.
A graduate of Riverdale High School in 1972, Ed was a truck driver for many years, retiring from Bluffton Precast in 2018 and he was a farmer in the Forest area his entire life, working for and helping out all of his friends along the way.
There will be no funeral services as Ed had everything planned out, if you know him this is no surprise, and chose to be cremated. There will be a Celebration of Life for Ed on August 10th noon to 4 at the Sulpher Lake Campground community building (Arlington, Ohio) . The family has asked that any monetary donations be sent to Bridge Hospice, Findlay in memory of Ed.
