Marion County Sheriff’s Office Hosting Educational Session for Applicants Interested in Becoming a 911 Dispatcher

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to hire 911 dispatcher(s) for Marion County. 

An educational session highlighting job duties will be held on August 1st from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. 

The session will be held in the Prospect Room which is in the lower level of the county building at 222 West Center Street in Marion.

The session will include an overview of dispatch operations, benefits, a tour of the dispatch center and remarks from the first responders dispatched by the Marion Central Dispatch Center.

Interested applicants will be able to fill out a shadowing form and an application at the session.
