Kenton Sophomore Trumpet Player Recently Attended Ohio State March Band Summer Clinic

The Kenton City Schools Music Department is congratulating sophomore trumpet player Mason Reffner who joined high school students from across the country at The Ohio State Marching Band Summer Clinic last weekend.

Every year, high school marching band students from across the county attend the Ohio State Marching Band Summer Clinic for an opportunity to improve their musicianship and marching skills as they contemplate a potential audition for the Ohio State Marching Band.

Under the direction of marching band staff and student leaders, the camp participants were able to learn the music and military style marching fundamentals used by The Ohio State University Marching Band in an encouraging, fun and interactive environment.
