The Hardin County Players are featured in the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance‘s latest Member Spotlight.
Players was organized in December 1996, as the brainchild of Phil Burson, former choir director at Kenton High School.
Their first show was “Arsenic and Old Lace” in February 1997, featuring Rosemary Fitzgerald, Judy Faulkner, David Faulkner and Lynn Davis in the lead roles.
In 2010, Players decided to further encourage area young people to participate in the arts by creating the “Take A Bow”, or TAB, Awards.
The awards recognize the hard work area schools put into presenting the many dramas, comedies and musicals which feature their students of many varied ages.
The Hardin County Players is a 501C-3 entity, and all donations are tax-deductible.
