Hardin County Man Apprehended Within 24 Hours of $2,500 Reward Offer from Kenton Police Department

A day after offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to his arrest, 20-year-old Phillip Steele was taken into custody.

He was arrested early this (Wednesday) morning.

Kenton Police Chief Dennis Musser said that the Kenton Police Department, Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, and Hardin County Crime Task Force followed up on several tips on Tuesday regarding Steele’s whereabouts.

He was eventually located in Ridgeway and was arrested with assistance from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.

Steele is being held on charges of felonious assault, tampering with evidence, and receiving stolen property.
