Ohio’s Sales Tax Holiday Begins at Midnight

Ohio’s expanded 2024 sales tax holiday will take place starting at midnight tonight.

It will then run through 11:59 p.m. Aug. 8th.

In conjunction with the Ohio General Assembly, Governor Mike DeWine expanded the event’s length to 10 days.

It will allow tax-free purchases made in person or online on all eligible items of up to $500.
