Rotary District 6600 Governor Tim Ryan is joined by Assistant District Governor, Deb Zwez and Kenton Rotary President Lynn Webb at a recent Kenton Rotary meeting. Assistant Governor Zwez introduced Governor Ryan and he shared his Rotary story (how he came to be involved in Rotary) and spoke to the group about his vision for the district during his term. He also shared how Rotary helped found Easter Seals over 100 years ago and 50 years ago, District 6600 raised $100,000 to help begin to eradicate Polio across the globe.
He was the district polio chair for four years and personally vaccinated children against polio in India, Chad, and Nigeria. He was the first district Environmental Chair. Tim believes environmental sustainability is an obligation to our children. His Rotary projects include water, peace, literacy, and health. He is very proud of the collaborations he has had with other clubs around the district and the world.
