Joe Warner Bricker, 79 formerly of Kenton passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus on Sunday, August 25, 2024. He was born on September 11, 1944 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Ansley) Bricker, sons, Steve (Paulette) Bricker of Powell, Ohio and Matthew Bricker of Dublin, Ohio; step-daughters, Heather Houser and Holly (Dave) Conover; five grandchildren, Zoe (Kasey) Bricker-Middaugh, Morgan Houser, Heath Houser, Seth Conover and Shawn Conover, a brother, George (Karen) Bricker, sister, Eloise (Linn) Bruder and sister-in-law, Geraldine Bricker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Earl Tharpe, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dave Bricker and Bill and Marian Bricker.
Joe retired as a Supervisor at Durez and had previously worked as a Barber at Espy Street Barbers.
Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm Saturday, August 31, 2024 where the service will begin at 12pm, with Pastor Don Eger officiating. Burial will follow in Hale Cemetery, Mt. Victory. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in his memory and online condolences can be shared by visiting coldrencrates.com.
