The Wyandot County Board of Developmental Disabilities announced a new accessible restroom with a universal changing table that will make its official debut at the 2024 Wyandot County Fair.
This accessible restroom is equipped with a fully powered ceiling lift system, but guests need to bring their own sling.
It also has a universal changing table with a side rail, accessible ramp, accessible toilet and sink, along with spacious room for companion care. It will be available adult changing and companion care daily at the Wyandot County Fair.
The Wyandot County Fair is set to be held September 9th through September 14th.
The two organizations are also partnering up to offer a quiet room/sensory building. Both facilities will be located behind the block building restrooms located near the Fire and EMS departments.
These projects were made possible by Grant Funding and allow a more accessible and inclusive fair experience for guests of the Wyandot County Fair.
