Fire damaged an apartment at Kenton Village Apartments Tuesday night.
According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at around 9:30pm to the complex, and they found black smoke coming from an apartment.
Everyone was out of the residence when firefighters arrived, and there were no injuries.
The fire started in the kitchen, where most of the damage was contained.
There was smoke damage throughout and water damage in some parts of the apartment.
Assistance was provided by the Mt. Victory Fire Department.
BKP Ambulance and the Kenton Police Department also assisted at the scene.
