Marion Central Dispatch Center Swamped with Calls Over Threat Linked to Marion County High School; Sheriff’s Office Confirms Incident Actually Occurred in Kentucky

An online threat made against Marion County High School did not occur in Ohio according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident took place this past Sunday night in Lebanon, Kentucky, which is the county seat of Marion County in that state.

The Ohio Marion County Dispatch Center was flooded with calls from concerned citizens regarding the online threat, but they were assured it did not happen in Ohio.

Lebanon, Kentucky police arrested a teenager in connection to the incident there.

The 16-year-old was charged with first degree terroristic threatening.
