An Alger man was killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred at just after 10:00pm Thursday night in the 17,000 block of State Route 235 in Roundhead Township.
According to a release from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, the initial investigation indicated that Chad Goodin was operating the motorcycle north on 235 and travelled off the west side of the road.
Goodin was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from the motorcycle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing and speed is thought to be a contributing factor.
Assisting the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office on scene was Roundhead Fire Department, Richland Township Fire Department, BMRT EMS, USV EMS, the Multi-County Crash Investigation Team, Minich’s Towing and Recovery and the Hardin County Coroner’s Office.
