Phyllis Jean Bricker, 78, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Blanchard House. She was born on January 24, 1946, in Ridgeway, Ohio, to Woodrow and Naoma (Moe) Ansley. She is survived by daughters, Heather Houser and Holly (Dave) Conover both of Kenton; Stepsons; Steve (Paulette) Bricker of Powell, Ohio and Matthew Bricker of Dublin, Ohio; five grandchildren, Morgan Houser, Seth Conover, Heath Houser, Shawn Conover, and Zoe (Kasey) Bricker-Middaugh, brother; Lowell (Dianne) Ansley, Lima, and brother-in-law, Vernard “Pete” Brown, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Joe, and sister; Joyce Brown.
Phyllis was a 1964 graduate of Ridgemont High School and worked at Durez for 43 years. She was a hard worker and was always helping others. Her role as mother and grandmother were very important to her and she loved her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching their sporting events and 4-H activities.
She loved her dog, Ginger, her cat Daisy and her precious granddogs.
The family would like to thank Blanchard House and Gentiva Hospice for the compassionate care given to her throughout her battle with alzheimers.
A visitation will be held from 10am-12pm Saturday, September 28, 2024 at SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 200 Columbus Street, Kenton, OH. Her funeral service will begin at 12pm, with Pastor Gregg King officiating. A burial will follow in Hale Cemetery, Mt. Victory.
