Engine Fire at Ohio-Hi Point Career Center’s Automotive Lab Quickly Contained Yesterday

Ohio-High Point Career Center had an engine catch fire outside of the Automotive lab yesterday morning.

The instructor immediately used the fire extinguishers to put out the fire out and instructed a student to pull the fire alarm out of an abundance of caution.

The Bellefontaine Fire Department was quickly on scene to ensure the situation was contained.

Ohio-Hi Point thanked their staff and students for their prompt evacuation of the building, and gave a special thanks to the Bellefontaine Fire Department for responding so quickly.
