Preschool through 6th grade students at Kenton Elementary School learned about bus safety and expectations and were able to participate in a bus evacuation drill.
Brian Clawson, Transportation Supervisor, arranged for bus drivers to visit KES with their buses to give the students the an opportunity to learn more about them.
Bus driver Mitch Walls taught the students about safely loading and unloading the school bus.
The students practiced sitting in their seat properly, and they were taught the importance of keeping the aisle clear so that the bus driver could see out the back window of the bus for approaching traffic.
