OhioHealth’s Mobile Mammography Unit will be making two stops in Kenton this month.
The first stop is at Quest Federal Credit, on US 68 on October 10, then at the Mary Lou Johnson-Hardin County District Library on the 17th.
Lucinda Pfeifer, Program Manager at Marion Cancer Center said the purpose is to bring the care to the people, “Some people have to miss work, so they don’t schedule it. This brings it right to the people, eliminates transportation barriers, scheduling barriers, so it’s been a great initiative. To register they can call Central Scheduling at 614-566-1111 and say they would like to be scheduled for the Mobile Mammogram.”
For the compete discussion with Pfeifer along with HMH Media and Public Relations Manager Lindsey Gordon, tune in Public Eye Saturday morning at 7:30am and Sunday at noon on WKTN.
