The City of Wapakoneta unveiled its new Water Reclamation Facility this week.
The WRF plays a pivotal role in the City’s One Water Plan, promoting economic development while safeguarding natural resources.
The facility employs a multi-step process that includes screening, grit removal and biological treatment.
It is designed to handle an average flow of 6 million gallons per day, but it can accommodate peak flows of up to 12 million gallons per day.
The facility is seen as a great step for the future of Wapakoneta.
