Greenwood Grange #1061 in Hardin County is celebrating their 150th Sesquicentennial Anniversary.
The Grange is in Grant on State Route 53 between Kenton and Forest.
Greenwood Grange was organized in October 1874 and the first meeting place was the Antioch Schoolhouse on County Road 195, Forest, which still exist today.
The meeting place moved around to different locations until a hall was built at the current location in 1911.
A celebration will be held this Sunday, October 13th with an Open House from 1:30 to 4:30, with a short program and presentations at 2:30.
“Reading of the Minutes” will be held with information from minutes from the past 150 years.
Greenwood invites current and former Grange members, and those of the Grant Community and friends to join them for this celebration.
