Pleasant Township Trustees provided an update on the Mausoleum Project at Grove Cemetery.
They announced that a total of 38 internments were completed as of Thursday, October 17, which was six days ahead of schedule.
The work now will turn to removing the mausoleum and designing a monument to mark its past existence.
The guardrail will also be extended to protect the area.
Temporary markers will be created to mark each gravesite, but footers will be poured once the ground settles and headstones will be put in place.
A non-denominational service will be scheduled, and the public will be invited.
