The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance recently shined its member spotlight on The Kenton Lions Club.
The Kenton Lions Club was formed on January 14, 1947, and the club currently has 52 members.
They are best known for their Lions Show, which is held every other year with skits and local entertainment to raise money for their service projects.
Their other service projects include a variety of local projects such as helping put up veterans’ banners, the lining-up and handing out flags in the Memorial Day parade, hosting “The Kenton Lions Club Ohio’s Biggest Small-Town Christmas Parade”, hosting Bowling with Santa and more.
If you would be interested in becoming a member of the Kenton Lion’s Club, please come to a meeting and check us out.
The Kenton Lions Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at Kenton Elks Lodge 157 at 6:30 pm. Except for the months of July-September the 3rd Wednesday.
