Hardin County Agricultural Society to Hold Annual Election for Directors on November 2nd
The Hardin County Agricultural Society will hold its annual election for Directors on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm in the Fair office at the Hardin County Fairgrounds.
Members of the Agricultural Society who reside in the townships open for election may vote on the director representing their township.
All other members may vote on two candidates for Director-at Large.
Positions open this year are 3-year terms for Lynn, Dudley, Goshen, Roundhead and Washington Townships, 2-year term for Taylor Creek Township and 3-year term for two Director at Large positions.
To run for a position, you need to be a member of the ag society, and signed petitions need to be returned to the Secretary’s Office by 4 pm this Friday, October 25th.
The election will be followed at 7:30 pm by an annual meeting and the re-organizational meeting in the Community Building.
All members are invited to attend the annual meeting.
