Kenton City Schools to Dismiss at Noon Today Due to Power Outage

Power is restored to Kenton City Schools, however, due to the inability to feed students, we are proceeding with dismissal at noon. Busses will continue to run starting at noon, and dropoffs will occur three hours earlier than regularly scheduled.

Kenton City Schools will release at noon today. They sent the following release to parents earlier this morning.

“Due to the loss of electricity and the inability to feed all of our students, Kenton City Schools will release at noon today.

Any parent that cannot pickup their child will remain at school and will be fed until the parent is able to pickup their child.

We will follow regular dismissal protocols at noon. Busses will run starting at Noon. Drop-off times will be three hours hours earlier than normal.”
