The Wyandot County Historical Society will hold its annual Veterans Day Display at the Wyandot County Museum from Thursday, November 8 to Monday, November 11. The hours of operation will be from 1:00 – 5:00 PM.
There is no admission charge, however, donations are being accepted and will be used to help preserve their military collections.
If you have a uniform with patches or pins/medals on it that you do not recognize or know what they are, bring the jacket (or a good quality picture) and they will help identify the military awards. This could assist you with learning more about your relative’s military service.
Guests will also learn about the connection between Wyandot County and the book Ben Hur. Most of the military displays are on the first floor and it is is wheelchair and walker accessible.
On Monday, November 11 they will hold a drawing for the winning tickets from their 2024 Fundraising Raffle at 4:30 PM. Guests do not need to be present to win.
