Rachel Ann Rall Morrison age 83 of Upper Sandusky, went to be with the Lord at Vancrest of Upper Sandusky on Nov. 3, 2024. She was born on June 5, 1941 at home on the family farm in Upper Sandusky to the late Raymond E. and Gladys M. (Brown) Rall. She was baptized at 3 days old. She is preceded in death on Oct. 18, 2008 by her husband Charles Morrison who she married on Oct. 29, 1971 in Kansas City, MO, he was a highly decorated military retiree. Surviving are: her step- children Gary Morrison, Roeland Park, KS, Cindy (Roy) Rogers, Parkville, MO, grandchildren Kristin (Jeff) Haynes and their children Carmen, Lila, James, Melanie Waymon, her son Aaron, Smithville, MO, daughter, Allison (David) Duncan, Sylvania OH, seven siblings, her twin brother Reuben (Rosa) Rall, Upper Sandusky, OH, Daniel (Deb) Rall, Columbus, OH, Harriet (Randall) Amendola, Marietta, GA, Helen Rall, Upper Sandusky, OH, Pat (David) Smith, Upper Sandusky, OH, Susan (Roger) Schoenberger, Upper Sandusky, OH, Charles (Verlinda) Rall, Carey, OH, 45 nieces and nephews, and her Godchild Angie Kinley Franz.

Rachel was a 1959 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, she was 12th in her class, was in CYO, Choir and 4-H. In 1960 she attended the University of Dayton and in 1963 she joined the United States Marine Corp serving at Parris Island for 29 months and Long Island NY for 6 months. As of Aug. 1965 she was a military pay clerk in Kansas City, MO until Feb. of 1968. In Mar. 1968 she was a financial systems analyst at the civil service Marine Corp Finance Center.

Her hobbies were Sweet Adelines, Kansas City Missouri Chorus, she loved doing needlepoint, crossword puzzles, Sudoka, cryptogram puzzles and loved taking a country drive observing the crops. She continued to educate herself in various subject matters. In 1972 she became an Episcopalian and was very active in the choir, a lector and volunteered in the church office. In 2011 she came back to Upper Sandusky and was happy and proud to be back in her childhood Catholic faith.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church at 10:00AM
on Sat. Nov. 9, 2024 with Fr Savio Manayalan OFM Conv. officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00AM-10:00AM on the day of the services. Interment will be held at Paola Kansas City Cemetery.
