Information on two crashes that occurred this past Wednesday was released this morning by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.

The first one occurred at just before 4pm Wednesday afternoon in the area of County Roads 110 and 45 in Marion Township.

Antonio Coy, of Alger, was traveling West on CR 110 when it ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and went across the center line.

The vehicle ended up off the right side where it went through a guard rail and came to rest in a deep ditch.

Coy was checked on scene by EMS and was not transported to a hospital.

Two child passengers in the vehicle were taken to local hospitals with suspected minor injuries.

Then just over a half hour later, a crash occurred in the area of County Roads 15 and 60 in Liberty Township.

Sachin Mali of Woodstock, Maryland, drove onto 60 from a stop sign on 15 and his car was struck by a vehicle operated by Tomas Marcario of Kenton.

Both drivers and a passenger in Macario’s vehicle reported no injuries on scene.

Mali was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way at a stop sign.
