Fay I. Ludwig-Beatty age 90 of Mt. Blanchard died Thurs. Nov. 21, 2024 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born June 4, 1934 in Kansas, OH to the late Paul & Thelma (Gamble) Boyd.
Fay married James Ludwig on Nov. 17, 1951 and he passed on Nov. 15, 1985. She later married Lee E. Beatty on May 7, 1993 and he survives in Mt. Blanchard. Fay is also survived by her children Lynn Crouch, Elida, Patrick Beatty, Findlay, Lisa (Harold) Richardson, IN, 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her children Kenneth Ludwig, Charlotte Retherford, grandchildren Jon Wayne Woodard, Tyler Evan Lee Hankins, Danielle Denise Woodard, and brothers Keith and Larry Boyd.
She worked at UAP in Forest for 32 years, and when she moved to Indiana she was a real estate agent and secretary at Epworth UMC in South Bend, IN. Fay was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star, and former president of Local #1033. She enjoyed genealogy, antiques, talking politics, and she was an avid Notre Dame fan.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00AM Mon. Nov. 25, 2024 at Clark Shields Funeral Home, Forest. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Mon. Nov. 25, 2024 at Clark Shields Funeral Home with Chaplain Tomas Pistora officiating. Interment will follow in Hueston Cemetery.
