A graveside service for Brenda Jeanne Johnson will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the Grove Cemetery Committal Building in Kenton. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Brenda passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Kenton Nursing Rehab Center in Kenton. She was born on December 30, 1930, in Fremont, Ohio to the late Dr. Clarence L. and Velma (Carter) Johnson.
Surviving is a sister, Ragnhild “Ronnie” Sentner of West Chester, PA, a nephew, David Sentner of FL, a stepmother, Eva Johnson-Timmons of Kenton, and a special friend and caretaker, Ernest Lee Cross.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Phillip Sentner and a niece, Mary Nicol.
Brenda graduated from Kenton High School in 1951. She went on to graduate from Marjorie Webster College in New York. She worked as a teacher, teaching health and physical education in Mt.Vernon, Newark, Columbus, as well as Honeoye, New York.
Memorial donations in Brenda’s honor may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
