Celebrate Christmas in Kenton: Photo Spot with Santa, Festival of Trees, Cookie Walk, Free Movie and More

A full day of Christmas events will be taking place in downtown Kenton on Saturday, December 7.

Main Street Promotions is sponsoring a Photo Spot at the Old City Hall Antique Mall at 224 West Columbus Street, where you can stop by from noon until 2pm for a free photo with Santa.

The Christmas Cookie Walk will be from 10am until 1pm, and paid registrations are due today. The cost is $20 per participant. Participants of the Christmas Cookie Walk will receive a commemorative soft-sided cooler bag and will collect a cookie or special holiday treat as they visit each of the participating locations. A complete list of participating locations will be provided to participants at check-in on Saturday, December 7.

With over 15 participating locations, it’s the perfect opportunity to wrap up your holiday shopping, indulge in delicious holiday treats and explore the beautifully decorated storefronts of Kenton and Ada.

The Hardin County Historical Museum‘s Festival of Trees will be taking place on December 7 from noon until 4pm.

The hours for the Festival of Trees will also include:

December 1st, 4th-6th, 7th, 11th-13th, 15th, 18th-22nd, 27th and 28th: Noon to 4pm

December 8th and 14th: 5pm to 8 pm

Special Events –

December 15: Dulcimer Group from 2pm to 4pm

December 9th and December 21st : Harp Music

Kenton Theatre 3 will host a free showing of ‘Home Alone’ starting at 11am, sponsored by Century 21 Sunway Realty.

The screening begins at 11:00am, with doors opening at 10:30am. This family-friendly event will also feature special giveaways.
